THE JIKESH Jikesh Patel 11/3/00 Block F Harold c. Urey Harold Clayton Urey was a scientist whose baring of deuterium helped him win the Nobel Peace Prize for alchemy in 1934. He also made fundamental contributions to the production of the nuclear bomb through his development of the isotope separation processes for the Manhattan Project. Harold Urey was born in Walkerton, Indiana, on April 29, 1893. His early school tool place in rural Indiana.
